Dr Vlastimil Visek
Aesthetic Surgery | Plastic SurgeonPhysician with over 30 years of experience in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Víšek began his career as a physician at the surgical department of the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady. Then he became an assistant at the plastic surgery department of the same hospital. He worked in this position until 1991. Subsequently, he spread his activities to many other sites. He worked as a consultant in the field of plastic surgery in Prague 4, as well as the head of the surgical department of the polyclinic in Prague - Podolí. He also worked as the senior consultant of many private clinics of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine during his extensive career - in the Medical House, Iscare, GHC and others. In addition, he participates in numerous external activities at a number of renowned facilities.
Dr. Víšek has certification in general and plastic surgery, he is a candidate of medical sciences and holds a diploma of lifelong learning awarded by CLK. -
Dr Vera Satankova
Aesthetic Surgery | Chief SurgeonDr. Šatánková has been practicing plastic and aesthetic surgery for over 25 years. She started her career as a scientist and researcher at Plastic Surgery Clinic at University Hospital Královské Vinohrady at the Burns Department, and specialized in treatment of extensive burn injuries. She became assistant Professor, performed plastic surgery procedures and educated students of the IIIrd Medical School of Charles’s University. After almost 10 years, she transferred to the Institute of Medical Cosmetics, then the only facility in the country specialized in aesthetic surgery. In 1994 she had established and successfully operated her own Plastic Surgery Clinic with the exclusive focus on cosmetic surgery. This facility was one of the most renowned and sought after clinics among both domestic and international clientele. Many TV broadcasts and educational films about aesthetic procedures for Czech and British TV stations were made at her private facility.
Since 2007 she had been in the USA as a special consultant for plastic surgery. She was awarded permanent residence for her exceptional abilities in medicine.
Upon return from the USA, Dr. VÄ›ra Šatánková had become the Chief Surgeon of the Department of Plastic Surgery at OB Clinic Prague, where she performed the entire range of aesthetic procedures, as well as corrective procedures after excessive loss of weight. From 2012 to 2016 she was managing the Department of Plastic Surgery at the ISCARE clinic in Prague. Thanks to her surgical and managerial skills it has become a world-class facility.
Dr. Šatánková is a member of the Czech Medical Chamber, American Medical Association, Czech Society of Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Czech Medical Society J.E. PurkynÄ›, Czech Society of Burns Surgery, American Burns Association, Allergan Academy, and many other associations. She is licensed for private practice, as educator in medical practice, as medical representative, and for advisory services in surgery and plastic surgery. She gained experience at many specialized plastic surgery facilities in the Netherlands, Germany, and the USA.
Dr. Šatánková authored several articles in medical journals, as well as many publications in prestigious newspapers and periodicals. She is a very frequent guest of TV and radio broadcasts regarding plastic and aesthetic surgery.

My name’s Sandhla and I had a facelift and liposuction. I was really happy and so am happy to share my own experience with all those who are about to make their choice of medical provider. I know how difficult the choice of the right clinic is, as well as how important it is for the success of the treatment. I started thinking about going abroad when I understood how incredibly expensive the treatment is in the UK. At the same time, I was not prepared to make even the smallest compromise in terms of quality and security. Therefore, the time I spent researching and consulting prior to making my decision was considerable. I actually ended up having fewer treatments than I’d originally planned, thanks to Dr. Satankova’s recommendations. I’d wanted to have a rhinoplasty as well, but was advised that having an additional treatment done at the same time would have been too much. Although it took some persuading, afterwards I was relieved that I’d taken her advice; she obviously had my safety and comfort as her main concern, rather than making an extra sale.
